Kennon Road Temporarily closed from June 26 until further notice

The following is an excerpt of a public advisory from DPWH-Cordillera:

“A blasting operation is set today, June 26 (Wednesday), 2019 at around 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, along Camp 7, Kennon Road to be conducted by the team composed of the OCD-CAR, DPWH Baguio DEO, Tuba LGU, Tuba MPS and Philex Mining Corporation.

“In view of this, Kennon Road will be temporarily CLOSED to TRAFFIC from 12:00 NN of June 26 until such time that the blasting operations are completed. Likewise, all residents within the 100m blast radius will also be pre-emptively evacuated to a safer area.”
